Thiruvaragunamangai Perumal Temple, located on the banks of the Thamiraparani river in Tamil Nadu, is one of the nine Nava Tirupati temples dedicated to Vishnu along the Tiruchendur-Tirunelveli route. Built in Dravidian architectural style, it ranks among the 108 Divya Desams revered by the Alvars, the twelve poet-saints of the Sri Vaishnava tradition. The temple enshrines Vishnu as Vijayasana Perumal and Lakshmi as Varagunavalli, following the Tenkalai tradition of worship. A granite wall surrounds the complex, enclosing its shrines, while a five-tiered rajagopuram (gateway tower) marks the entrance. The temple observes six daily rituals and celebrates three annual festivals, most notably the ten-day Vaikuntha Ekadashi festival in December-January and Nammalvar birth celebrations featuring Garudasevai. It is administered by the Hindu Religious and Endowment Board of the Tamil Nadu government.
