Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple at Tirukulandhai stands on the southern bank of the Thamiraparani river in Tamil Nadu, approximately 5 kilometers from Alvar Thirunagari, as one of the nine temples comprising the Nava Tirupatis—a group of Divya Desams dedicated to Vishnu and revered by the Alvars, the twelve poet-saints of medieval Tamil Vaishnavism. Constructed in the Dravidian architectural style, the temple enshrines Vishnu as Mayakoothar alongside his consort Lakshmi as Kulandhaivalli Tayar, and is traditionally associated with Shani (Saturn). A granite wall encloses the temple's shrines, while a three-tiered rajagopuram serves as its gateway tower. The temple, maintained by the Hindu Religious and Endowment Board of Tamil Nadu, follows the Tenkalai tradition of worship and conducts six daily rituals alongside three annual festivals, with the ten-day Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebration in the Tamil month of Margali (December–January) and the Nammalvar birth celebrations with Garudasevai among the most significant observances across all nine Nava Tirupati temples.
