The KPMG Tower, a 34-storey postmodern skyscraper completed in 1987 in downtown Montreal, stands at 600 de Maisonneuve Ouest with a height of 146 metres. Designed by WZMH Architects, the building was constructed on land owned by the Christ Church Cathedral and was deliberately styled to relate architecturally to the historic cathedral that faces it from Saint Catherine Street. The tower incorporates an underground shopping centre, Promenades Cathédrale, which integrates into Montreal's extensive underground city network connected to the Metro system. The building is presently owned and operated by BentallGreenOak.
