This 1956 Usonian Automatic residence in Normandy Park, Washington, exemplifies Frank Lloyd Wright's late-career vision for affordable, owner-built modern homes. Constructed of concrete blocks punctuated by glass and redwood plywood, the 1,150-square-foot house contains three bedrooms, one bathroom, and a two-car garage on a substantial 31,000-square-foot lot overlooking Puget Sound. Built for residents Bill and Elizabeth Tracy, the home was recognized by Seattle Met in 2011 as one of the ten greatest homes in the Seattle area and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
