Trwyn Du Lighthouse, also known as Penmon Lighthouse, stands 29 metres tall on the eastern coast of Anglesey near Black Point, marking the passage between Penmon and Puffin Island. Built in 1838 from stone and designed by James Walker, this Grade II* listed structure served as a vital navigation aid at a strategic point between the two islands. Its solid construction and elevated position made it an effective beacon for maritime traffic navigating the waters off Wales's largest island.
