Located at 36 Southerland Road in Conway, Arkansas, the Tyler–Southerland House is a single-story wood-frame residence built around 1948 that showcases Tudor Revival styling executed with regional distinction. The structure features a gable roof, stone veneer exterior, and cream-colored brick trim—signature elements of Silas Owens Sr., a prominent African-American mason whose work shaped the architectural character of the area. The house exemplifies a comparatively high style for Owens's practice, with characteristic Tudor Revival details including a small gable above the front entry and a larger gable framing a band of windows. Angled wing walls flanking the main entrance represent an unusual design choice seldom seen in Owens's other residences. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
