The United Office Building, now known as The Giacomo, is a historic Mayan Revival skyscraper located in Niagara Falls, New York. Designed by architect James A. Johnson, the structure exemplifies the Art Deco architectural style that dominated American commercial design in the early twentieth century. Its distinctive Mayan Revival ornamentation reflects a popular decorative idiom of the era, blending modernist commercial architecture with ancient architectural references. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building remains an important example of period skyscraper design in upstate New York.
