The Bay Shore Post Office, located at 10 Bay Shore Avenue in Bay Shore, New York, is a Colonial Revival structure designed by Louis A. Simon and artist Wheeler Williams. Serving ZIP code 11706, the building handles mail for Bay Shore proper as well as several Fire Island communities—Kismet, Saltaire, Dunewood, Fair Harbor, and Point O'Woods. Unlike Simon's contemporaneous post office designs in Northport, Riverhead, and Westhampton Beach, this building was developed independently rather than in consultation with the United States Treasury Department. The post office was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988, a year ahead of Simon's other Suffolk County post office projects.
