Villa Anneslie is a historic summer residence built around 1855 in Towson, Baltimore County, Maryland, and designed by architect John Rudolph Niernsee. Constructed in brick and clad in clapboard, this Italianate villa exemplifies Renaissance Revival architecture through its two-story form punctuated by an asymmetrical composition. Its most distinctive feature is a three-story tower positioned centrally over the entrance, characteristic of the Italianate style popular in mid-nineteenth-century American domestic architecture. The building was recognized for its historical significance when it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
