The Walt Mason House in Emporia, Kansas, a single-family residence built in 1912, exemplifies the American Foursquare architectural style popular in early twentieth-century America. Located at 606 West 12th Avenue, the house gained historical significance as the home of Walt Mason (1862–1939), a humorist and poet of his era. The dwelling was recognized for both its architectural merit as a representative example of the American Foursquare movement and its association with Mason himself. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992, it remains a documented example of residential Prairie School-era design in Kansas.
