Webbley, also known as the O. Max Gardner House, is a Colonial Revival home in Shelby, North Carolina, originally built in 1852 and substantially rebuilt in 1907. The two-story frame dwelling features a low-pitched hip roof with a flat roof deck and balustrade, complemented by two hip-roofed rear ells. Its most prominent feature is a full-height, flat-roofed portico supported by fluted Ionic columns across the front facade. The house acquired its name after James L. Webb purchased it in 1911 and served as the residence of Governor Oliver Max Gardner and his wife, Fay Webb-Gardner, until the Governor's death in 1947. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, the property was renovated following its 1989 purchase by Oliver Max Gardner III and reopened as a bed and breakfast inn in 1993. It stands within the Central Shelby Historic District.
