The Wheat House, located at 600 Center Street in Lonoke, Arkansas, is a two-story wood-frame residence built around 1910 to a design by Charles L. Thompson. Exemplifying Colonial Revival architecture with Georgian Revival characteristics, the structure features a hip roof and weatherboard siding, distinguished by a relatively modest overall form enlivened by an elaborate entry porch supported by slender Tuscan columns and pilasters. Dentil moulding ornaments both the base of the main cornice and the window surrounds, lending refined detail to what stands as one of Lonoke's largest and most sophisticated houses of its era. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
