Wildwood House in Ferguson, Missouri, is an Italianate-style residence built in 1857 for Major Joseph LaMotte and his wife Ellen Chambers LaMotte as a country showplace. The rectangular two-story structure measures 44 by 36 feet and is constructed of white-painted brick masonry, distinguished by a low hipped metal-clad roof and four chimneys. Originally a rural retreat, the house was surrounded by the Hartnett Place subdivision when it was developed in 1956. Wildwood House was recognized on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
