The William A. Short House is a 2½-story wood-frame residence built in 1904 for cotton merchant William A. Short and his wife Sally Baker at 317 Biscoe Street in Helena, Arkansas. Its Colonial Revival styling is exemplified by a semicircular porch extending across the front facade, while the interior features detailed woodwork in a variety of woods. Short's fortune declined when the cotton market collapsed, forcing him to sell the house in 1917. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, the building now operates as the Edwardian Inn, a bed and breakfast.
