The William P. Stroman House is a two-story Classical Revival brick dwelling built in 1926 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Its most prominent feature is a full-height porch supported by Doric order columns, crowned with a Spanish tile roof. A contributing garage and greenhouse stand on the property. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996, the house carries a tragic history: in 1955, an axe-wielding intruder attacked the residents, killing Mrs. Stroman, for which Samuel Wright, Jr. was convicted and sentenced to death.
