The Wyant-Talbot House stands on Clark Avenue in Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York, a Queen Anne style residence constructed around 1870 by L.N. Wyant, a local merchant who served as an elder of the Cornwall Presbyterian Church. The house reflects the architectural tastes of the era and its connection to the village's commercial life—Talbot, a subsequent owner who operated a store in the community, came to control much of Clark Avenue's property by 1891. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.
