A 33-story office tower completed in 2008, 555 Mission Street rises 147 meters in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood. Designed by architects Kohn Pedersen Fox, the building was the tallest office building constructed in the city during the 2000s and ranks among San Francisco's 25 tallest structures. It exemplifies the new generation of skyscrapers that transformed Mission Street's downtown corridor in the early twenty-first century, joining contemporaries including The Paramount, the St. Regis Museum Tower, and Millennium Tower as part of the city's evolving skyline.
