The Blücher Memorial stands on Bebelplatz in Berlin's Mitte district, commemorating Prussian field marshal Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher (1742–1819). Created between 1819 and 1826 by Christian Daniel Rauch in neoclassical style, this 3.25-meter bronze and granite monument represents a masterpiece of the Berlin school of sculpture. Originally positioned at the front of Unter den Linden avenue—where it formed a significant urban ensemble—the memorial was relocated in 1950 and has occupied its present site since 1963. The work stands as a cultural and architectural heritage monument in Berlin.
