Brookfield Place is a postmodern office and retail complex designed by B+H Architects and completed in 1992 in downtown Toronto. Occupying a 2.1-hectare block bounded by Yonge, Wellington West, Bay, and Front Streets, the complex comprises two towers—the 261-meter TD Canada Trust Tower and the Bay Wellington Tower—connected by the Allen Lambert Galleria. The site contains 242,000 square meters of office space and 59,000 square feet of retail space, along with 12 preserved heritage buildings. Brookfield Place notably houses the Hockey Hall of Fame, located in a restored opulent bank from 1885, and connects to the PATH network, providing access to additional shops and a food court.
