Grant Thornton Tower (formerly Chicago Title & Trust Center) is a 50-story office tower in Chicago's Loop, designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and completed in 1992. Rising 230 meters (756 feet), the building occupies the site of Chicago's former Greyhound Bus Station. Its most distinctive feature is an eastern-facing slanted roof at the upper levels, which is dramatically illuminated at night to create a striking silhouette on the skyline. The tower was originally conceived as part of a twin-tower complex, though the planned second building was never constructed. A basement-level pedway connects the building westward to the James R. Thompson Center. After Chicago Title & Trust reduced its occupancy, the building became known by its address, 161 North Clark, until Grant Thornton International acquired naming rights in 2012.
