Copenhagen Municipal Hospital, designed by architect Christian Hansen and completed in 1863, was a Byzantine Revival structure that served the city for 136 years until its closure in 1999. Located on Øster Farimagsgade opposite the Copenhagen Botanical Garden, the hospital's distinctive buildings now comprise part of the University of Copenhagen's City Campus. The complex is registered as a monument on the Danish state heritage register (Kulturstyrelsen).
