Docklands Stadium, located in Melbourne's Docklands suburb, is a A$460 million multi-purpose sports venue that opened in 2000, designed by Daryl Jackson, BVN Architecture, and Populous. Built as a replacement for Waverley Park, the stadium primarily serves as home to several Australian Football League teams and houses AFL headquarters. Its distinctive retractable roof and ground-level seating that converts between oval and rectangular configurations enable it to accommodate diverse sports, including cricket, soccer, rugby union, and rugby league. The venue hosted the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League from 2011 to 2026 and Melbourne Victory FC in the A-League from 2006 to 2021.
