The Dr. Philip Weintraub House, built in 1940 in the Hollywood Park neighborhood of Chicago, is an early modern single-family residence designed by architect Andrew Nicholas Rebori and artist Edgar Miller. Located at 3252 W. Victoria Street, the house exemplifies the International Style with its asymmetric form, smooth unornamented siding, and flat roofs topped by a terrace. Its interiors blend International Style principles with Art Moderne details—rounded wall and fireplace edges, recessed cove lighting, built-in cabinetry, glass-block bathroom fixtures, and a distinctive round window near the entrance. Miller contributed three original art works to the house: a low-relief limestone sculpture above the fireplace, a recessed decorative tile depicting a woman on a beach, and a custom metal door-pull. Designated a Chicago Landmark in 2009, the house is recognized as an important example of pre–World War II modernism designed for middle-class clientele, showcasing Rebori's architectural innovations and his fruitful collaboration with Miller, whom he also engaged on other significant Chicago projects including the Madonna della Strada Chapel at Loyola University.
