The Emil Bach House, located at 7415 North Sheridan Road in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood, is a Prairie style residence designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1915 for Emil Bach, a German immigrant and cofounder of the Bach Brick Company. Built as a two-story structure with basement, the house exemplifies Wright's late Prairie period work, adapting his published "Fireproof House for $5000" design with a rectangular first-floor plan centered on a fireplace and a cruciform second story containing three or four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The unusual rear entrance faces Lake Michigan rather than the street. A Chicago Landmark and National Register listing, the house passed through multiple owners after Bach sold it in 1931, until Jennifer Pritzker's 2010 acquisition and subsequent renovation made it available for public tours and events before its 2025 donation to Loyola University Chicago.
