English High School is a historic Jacobethan building designed by architect Holman K. Wheeler and completed in 1892 in downtown Lynn, Massachusetts, at 498 Essex Street. Enlarged in 1916, it served as Lynn's second high school until 1932, when a new English High School building opened on Goodridge Street. The structure was recognized on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 for its architectural significance—one of five Wheeler-designed properties in Lynn to receive this designation. Following decades of use as a junior high school, the building was converted into residential units.
