The Bluevale and Whitevale Towers, commonly known as the Gallowgate Twins or Camlachie Twin Towers, were twin 31-storey brutalist tower blocks built in 1968 in Glasgow's East End. Located at 109 Bluevale Street and 51 Whitevale Street in the Camlachie district, they were the second-tallest public housing schemes in the United Kingdom, surpassed only by the Barbican Estate in London, and briefly stood as Scotland's tallest buildings. Both towers were demolished in early 2016, following their condemnation in 2011.
