The Germantown Cricket Club in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood is the nation's second oldest cricket club, founded in 1854. Its distinguished clubhouse, completed in 1890, was designed by the celebrated architectural firm McKim, Mead & White. Originally established as one of four principal cricket clubs in Philadelphia and a contributing member to the city's cricket team, the club has evolved to offer facilities for cricket, tennis, squash, swimming, padel, and special events. Both the club itself and its facilities are recognized as a National Historic Landmark.
