Rising 261 meters in Macau's Sé district, the Grand Lisboa is a 47-floor hotel and casino that has dominated the city's skyline since its completion in 2008. Designed by Hong Kong architects Dennis Lau and Ng Chun Man, with interiors by KCA International's Khuan Chew, the tower was developed by Sociedade de Jogos de Macau. The casino opened first, in February 2007, followed by the hotel itself in December 2008. Its gaming floor features 800 tables and 1,000 slot machines, while the property offers 430 hotel rooms and suites. The Grand Lisboa was the first casino in Macau to offer Texas hold 'em poker ring games and among the first to introduce craps to the territory. As the tallest building in Macau, it remains the city's most recognizable architectural landmark.
