Greenwood Hotel is a historic brick structure at 300 N. Main Street in Eureka, Kansas, built in 1882 to serve visitors drawn by the region's expanding cattle industry. Owner H.D. Hover transformed its exterior in 1926 with a Spanish Mission Revival remodel that defines its current appearance. The renovation was marked by a grand celebration dinner on September 23, 1926—an event that evolved into the annual Cattlemen's Day, now held on the first Saturday of November. The hotel was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
