The Humble Oil Building, a historic office complex at 1212 Main Street in Houston, was designed by the architectural firm Clinton and Russell in the Italian Renaissance style and completed in 1921 for the Humble Oil and Refining Company. A tower section was added to the structure in 1936. Serving as the company's headquarters until 1963, when operations relocated to the ExxonMobil Building, the complex has since been adapted for modern use—first renovated in 2003 as a hotel and apartment building, with the residential units converted to additional hotel rooms in 2015. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
