The Pure Oil Service Station in Hartwell, Georgia, is a one-story brick filling station built in 1932 and located at the intersection of Howell Street and Jackson Street. Designed in Tudor Revival style, it exemplifies the architectural playfulness applied to utilitarian roadside structures during the early Depression era. The building was later repurposed as a service station and muffler shop under various proprietors, and it was recognized for its historical significance when listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
