The Kadin most, a 15th-century stone arch bridge spanning the Struma River at Nevestino in southwestern Bulgaria, exemplifies Ottoman architectural engineering. Built in 1470 under the order of Ishak Pasha during the reign of Sultan Mehmed II, the bridge bears an Ottoman Turkish stone inscription documenting its origins. Its three arches support a deck structure, with the longest span measuring 20 metres and a total length of 100 metres, making it a substantial crossing for its era and a surviving testament to Ottoman infrastructure in the Balkans.
