Built in 1938 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Kelvinator House (also called the Raabe House) is a Streamline Moderne and International Style residence designed by William E. Burk Jr. Commissioned by Walter C. Raabe, owner of Raabe & Mauger Hardware Company, the house served as a showroom for Kelvinator appliances distributed by the firm, part of a nationwide campaign that produced over 200 "Kelvin Homes" beginning in 1936. The design made it one of Albuquerque's earliest International Style homes alongside the contemporary Lembke House. A stylistically consistent second-story studio was added in 1976. The house was listed on the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties in 1978 and designated a contributing property within the Granada Heights historic district in 2022.
