Larom-Welles Cottage is a historic cure cottage located at Saranac Lake in North Elba, New York. Built around 1905, this three-story wood-frame structure exemplifies Shingle Style architecture, with a stone foundation and metal jerkin head gable roof crowned by a two-story wing featuring a shed roof dormer. The house features a two-bay verandah, entrance porch, and distinctive second-floor sleeping porch and cure porch—amenities typical of tuberculosis sanitarium cottages of the era. Originally constructed for the priest of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, it later became the residence of Dr. Edward Welles, a thoracic surgeon and pioneer who practiced at the nearby Adirondack Cottage Sanitarium. The cottage was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992 and has since been converted into six residential units.
