The MacTavish House, built in 1915 on Elm Street in Magdalena, New Mexico, is a two-story wood-frame residence on a stone foundation that exemplifies Queen Anne style architecture, notably featuring a turret. Constructed by and for J.S. MacTavish, a Scottish-born businessman who immigrated to Magdalena early in the town's history and became successful in commerce, the house reflects the prosperity of its owner. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
