The Mahnke House is a Prairie School residence built in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1909 by prolific local builder Fred W. Weitz. The house exemplifies the style through its hip roof, single-story west side solarium, and flat-roofed front portico with raised entrance and square paned windows. Its exterior features Flemish bond brick veneer. Originally owned by George and Emma Mahnke, the property was transferred to the Des Moines Annual Conference of the Methodist Church in 1952 and subsequently served as the superintendent's residence. The house was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 and later designated as a contributing property in the Ingersoll Place Plat Historic District in 2000.
