One Post Street, a 38-story modernist office tower completed in 1969 at the intersection of Post and Market Streets in San Francisco's Financial District, was designed by architect Welton Becket and exemplified his signature approach of repetitive geometric patterns and natural stone cladding. The building served as headquarters for the McKesson Corporation until 2019 and is now owned by Brookfield Properties. The distinctive triangular site presented a design challenge that landscape architect SWA Group solved with an octagonal, two-tiered public plaza opening toward the adjacent Montgomery Street BART station, animated by retail spaces, plantings, and tiered granite seating. The building has achieved cultural reach as the fictional "Lakeview Towers" in the television soap opera *The Young and the Restless*, appearing as the residence of prominent characters since 2012.
