The Montreal Star Building is a three-part Art Deco office complex in Old Montreal designed by the architectural firms Ross and Macdonald and Alexander Francis Dunlop. Built as headquarters for the Montreal Star newspaper and its sister publications, the structure served that purpose until the paper's closure in 1979. The Montreal Gazette subsequently owned the building from 1980 to 2003, after which it underwent comprehensive renovation in 2008–2009 and was converted into part of the Westin Montreal hotel.
