The Nestor Armijo House, a Late Victorian residence in Las Cruces, New Mexico, was built in 1870 for Bradford Daily and his wife Maricita. Purchased by merchant and rancher Nestor Armijo in 1877, the house became a family home across generations: his orphaned granddaughters moved in during 1902 and remained there after his death in 1911, with one granddaughter, Josephine Armijo Gallagher, raising her four children within its walls while her sister Gertrude Armijo Ascarate adapted the original kitchen and dining building as her own residence until her death in the 1970s. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in December 1976, the house stands as a testament to nineteenth-century domestic life in the territory.
