One Landmark Square is a 22-story, 295-foot neo-futurist skyscraper completed in 1973 in Stamford, Connecticut, designed by American architect Victor Hanna Bisharat. The building features a distinctive swooping form with scalloped-shaped entrances that reflect Bisharat's personal aesthetic. From 1970 to 1990, it was the tallest building on the coast between New York City and Boston, and it remains Stamford's tallest office tower. The structure has drawn comparisons to Eero Saarinen's TWA Flight Center and Oscar Niemeyer's Cathedral of Brasília for its expressionistic design. Bisharat designed many other downtown buildings during Stamford's urban renewal efforts in the 1970s and 1980s.
