Built in 1912 as a Carnegie library for Salem, Oregon, the Oregon Civic Justice Center stands as a three-story Beaux-Arts structure on the Willamette University campus in downtown Salem. Originally serving the city as a public library, the brick-faced building later housed the adjacent YWCA from 1971 to 2006. After Willamette University acquired the property in 2003, the College of Law relocated there in 2008 following comprehensive renovations that restored elements of the original layout while modernizing the facility. Today, the renamed center anchors the law school's community-oriented programs, including a legal clinic and law review journal.
