The Otter Tail County Courthouse in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, is a three-story brick and Bedford stone structure completed in 1922 by contractor L.P. Jorgenson at a cost of $322,000. Designed by the St. Paul architectural firm Buechner & Orth, it exemplifies the Beaux Arts style and was built following the tornado damage to its 1881 predecessor in June 1919. A judicial ruling in November 1920 that the county no longer had a courthouse enabled commissioners to issue bonds and levy a 1% property tax for the new building. The courthouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. A law enforcement center designed by Glenn W. Cording Associates was constructed behind the courthouse in 1962 and joined to it in 1972, with matching light-colored brick to harmonize with the original structure.
