Pachala Someswara Temple is a medieval Shaivite shrine in Panagal, Nalgonda district, Telangana, built in the 11th or 12th century CE, likely during the reign of Kunduru Chodas and Prataparudra I of the Kakatiya dynasty. Executed in Dravidian architectural style, the temple is distinguished by its idol of the deity carved from green onyx—the source of its name, "pacha" meaning "green" in Telugu. Located near the similar Shaivite temple of Chaya Someswara, it has become an important pilgrimage destination, especially during the festival of Maha Shivaratri.
