The Palace of Congresses in Tirana is a postmodern convention and arts center completed in 1986 during Albania's late communist period, originally designed to host congresses of the Party of Labour and state ceremonies. Today it serves as a major cultural venue with a main auditorium seating 2,100, supplemented by three smaller halls (150, 280, and 300 seats) for varied functions. The building regularly hosts the annual Festivali i Këngës and Kënga Magjike music festivals, the Tirana Book Fair, and diverse cultural events including concerts, exhibitions, and competitions. Recognized as a Cultural Monument of Albania, it remains one of the country's principal spaces for public gatherings and artistic programming.
