The Paradise Water Tower, located east of the intersection of Waldo and Main Streets in Paradise, Kansas, is a historic 1938 Works Progress Administration project. Rising 35 feet with a 17-foot diameter, this rusticated limestone structure was built to hold up to 58,000 gallons of water. The tower exemplifies the WPA Rustic style while incorporating Art Deco elements, most notably a distinctive Art Deco limestone entrance surround. Listed on both the Kansas Register of Historic Kansas Places and the National Register of Historic Places in 2007, it stands as a representative example of Depression-era civic infrastructure blending practical engineering with architectural character.
