Designed by Frank Gehry and opened in 2012, the Pershing Square Signature Center is a complex of three Off-Broadway theatres occupying the first floors of the 43-story MiMa Building apartment complex on Theatre Row in West 42nd Street, Manhattan. The center, named after a $25 million donation from the Pershing Square Foundation, serves as the home and headquarters of Signature Theatre Company and comprises the Irene Diamond Stage (294 seats), the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre (191 seats), and the flexible Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre (199–250 seats), along with two rehearsal studios, a café and bar, bookstore, and offices all located on a single level. The theatres are also available for rental and have hosted numerous notable productions, with The New Group frequently presenting their work there.
