MiMA, stylized for "Middle of Manhattan," is a 43-story mixed-use skyscraper at 450 West 42nd Street in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, designed by Miami-based Arquitectonica and completed in 2011. Rising 204 meters, the neomodern tower combines luxury rental apartments on floors 7–50, condominiums on floors 51–63, and a Yotel hotel on the lower levels. Developed by The Related Companies under founder Stephen M. Ross, the building distinguishes itself through distinctive amenities including a private health club, outdoor movie theater, and Dog City, a pet spa and dog run. In 2012, Frank Gehry's Pershing Square Signature Center, a 70,000-square-foot theater complex with three performance spaces and administrative offices, opened within the building. MiMA was also among the first buildings to integrate a distribution antenna system for improved cellular reception throughout.
