Plaza Indonesia is a shopping mall and mixed-use development in Central Jakarta, Indonesia, located on Jalan M.H. Thamrin at the corner of the Selamat Datang Monument. Opened in 1990, it established itself as Jakarta's earliest luxury mall, offering an array of international luxury brands unavailable elsewhere in Indonesia. The complex extends beyond retail to include the Grand Hyatt Jakarta hotel, which opened in 1991, and the Keraton at the Plaza hotel alongside an office tower called The Plaza, the latter two commenced in 2009. The development is owned and managed by PT. Plaza Indonesia Realty, a consortium of Sinar Mas Land, Hankyu Hanshin Holdings, and other companies.
