Rosenstein Castle is a classical palace in Stuttgart (specifically located in the Bad Cannstatt district), designed by architect and court builder Giovanni Salucci and constructed between 1822 and 1830 as a summer residence for King Wilhelm I of Württemberg. The building exemplifies the classical architectural style favored in early 19th-century German court circles. Today it serves as home to the State Museum of Natural History Stuttgart's collections devoted to extant lifeforms, preserving both its historical significance and its continued use as a public institution.
