Schloss Fasanerie is a Baroque palace complex near Fulda in Eichenzell, Germany, designed by Johann Dientzenhofer. Originally constructed around 1710 as a modest hunting lodge for the Prince-Abbots of Fulda, it underwent significant expansion and transformation into a grand residence during the mid-18th century. Following secularization and political upheaval, the palace became a summer residence of the princely Hesse-Kassel family until the early twentieth century. Damaged in the Second World War, it was restored and opened as a museum in 1972, now displaying one of Germany's most important private collections of classical art alongside Baroque and nineteenth-century furnishings, rare porcelain, and historical portraits.
